Initially unveiled as an idea, then launched as a limited-edition run of fifty autos — which offered out in minutes — the Ami Buggy is formally becoming a member of Citroën’s full-time lineup for 2025. Like the usual Ami, it is an all-electric two-seater metropolis automobile with a high velocity of 28 mph, a variety of 46 miles, and the flexibility to recharge in 4 hours over a 220-amp socket. In contrast to its stablemates, its doorways have been changed by hinged steel hoops (zipped door covers can be found for cover in opposition to the weather), and the open sunroof is outfitted with a mushy high, primarily turning it into the city mobility equal of a Jeep. It is completed with 14″ gold-finish metal wheels and a black spoiler on the rear, and is unfortunately nonetheless not slated for launch within the US.
